Birth Haven Baby Shower
At the November 20, 2025 VTWC Meeting, we will have a speaker from Birth Haven followed by a Baby Shower for Birth Haven residents. For over 40 years, Birth Haven has provided shelter and support to homeless, pregnant women. Rosetta Peterson reports there are currently 8 moms and 2 babies in residence with 6 babies on the way.

THE 1894 SOCIETY
The NJSFWC Headquarters Building, built with trading stamps, is located
on land leased from Rutgers University. The Federation’s lease with Rutgers sets the rental amount at a percentage of the value of the land. The value of land has increased.
The 1894 Society was initiated in 2002 in an effort to build a fund that will enable the NJSFWC to meet any increase that may be assessed by Rutgers. Click on the PDF to learn more.
